Sammy Learned the F-word Last Night

My first blog entry EVER!

I walk the line between loving new technology and being scared to death so it's with a lot of trepidation that I am starting my very first blog. My hope is that this blog brings me a little closer to the people I love who are far away, and will be a fun archive for us to look back at in the coming years as our memories start to fade.

Here is what we have been up to lately. We just got back from El Capitan Canyon. That's right, the Copelands went camping!

OK - it wasn't really camping...more like "glamping!"

Here are the authentic camping touches:

• Flashlight Tag
• Two meals cooked by mommy on the campfire
• Dirt
• Sleeping bags for the kids
• S'mores
• Hiking
• Building a fire

And the not so authentic touches:

• Indoor plumbing...with a bathtub
• A king sized bed with a down comforter
• Daily maid service
• A heated swimming pool
• Dinner at the Hungry Cat
