I walk the line between loving new technology and being scared to death so it's with a lot of trepidation that I am starting my very first blog. My hope is that this blog brings me a little closer to the people I love who are far away, and will be a fun archive for us to look back at in the coming years as our memories start to fade.
Here is what we have been up to lately. We just got back from El Capitan Canyon. That's right, the Copelands went camping!

OK - it wasn't really camping...more like "glamping!"
Here are the authentic camping touches:
- Flashlight Tag
- Two meals cooked by mommy on the campfire
- Dirt
- Sleeping bags for the kids
- S'mores
- Hiking
- Building a fire
And the not so authentic touches:
- Indoor plumbing...with a bathtub
- A king sized bed with a down comforter
- Daily maid service
- A heated swimming pool
- Dinner at the Hungry Cat

Very cool...good for you. How did you ever learn how to set up a blog? Yes, it will be a nice archive for years to come. The Glampsite looked cool! Not like our camping...we actually sleep in tents! But that cabin looked awfully inviting, and daily maid service? Yup that's the kind of camping I'd like to do.;) - Alexandra
